It does. It all started with a study on condom usage that had nothing to do with depression. They noticed though that people who didn’t use condoms and had sex regularly had lower levels of depression across the board compared to condom users. That spurred on more studies.
Turned out that it is a fabulous antidepressant.
Orgasm itself releases chemicals that relax the body too, so a combination of the two works wonders.
In short… sex itself is good for you.
