Last night we went to Olympia to visit some friends.
Ah… Washington states rainy capitol…. what can I say? Wish it was Seattle?
Actually I don’t mind Olympia. It’s a pretty chill place.
It was a very long night starting with some food and a couple drinks at some Irish pub and then on to Jakes…Olympia’s most popular queer dance bar…
It was our first visit to Jakes and the drinks were o.k., the music pretty good and the crowd was cool and chill.
Queer bars are a pretty good place for swinger couples to go out because nobody really gives a crap what we are doing. If kissing, flirting, and fondling of each other starts to happen… we don’t stand out to bad, and if we do – nobody starts shit.
At many straight bars such behavior is met with anger and jealousy by loser, no game jerks. Bad vibes suck!
Conclusion = Jakes is a good place for play couples to go out in Olympia.
Anyway… we stayed till closing and then went back to our friends for a bit. The 13th had turned to the 14th so it was a long two and a half hour drive back home. Yuk.
Didn’t get home till almost 6:am.
My wife slept in the car most of the way and then we both crashed out once home.
Awake at 9:am (because that is the hour our 2 year old gets up) we felt thrashed.

I don’t think a vanilla (swingers slang for a person who doesn’t swing) would be able to appreciate the humor of the card, but for me it was pretty darn funny. I am guessing it would be funny to most in the lifestyle.
My wife can be quite the little slut when she wants to be…. and she finds it awfully funny that she is.
She also finds it funny to tease me about it.
I would say her most common comment to me when I mention her slutty side or easiness is “you love it.”
Well…. I do. Plus I love it that she makes me be just as naughty as her.
I am the the less adventurous of us when it comes to “getting out there” so to speak.
If it was all up to my activity we would swing maybe 2 or 3 times a year.
If it was all up to her it would be weekly or more.
Between the 2 of us we end up with a nice middle ground.
It works.
Just as the card says…

Tee-hee-hee…I love that card…the dog/cat is so cute but her words…awesome. Sounds like your relationship really does work. My own hub and I know about being different and how hard is sometimes is. Congrats.

I feel your pain on the kids. We have a 4 year old and a 13 month old and one of them always wakes up at 7 A.M. sharp. On normal nights that is not a problem, however, on the nights we have gone out and then gotten home at 5, it has been unwelcome.

Skunk- we certainly will keep it up. It’s to much work for people like us to try and fit into the social norms anyway.
deviant- oh don’t you wish the little ones would just sleep in an extra half hour or so on those days? lol. Instead they usually wake up a tad early. It’s like they want to see their parents look like zombies.
